New VARA-FM Winlink Gateway in Ashland Ohio

Just got a gateway (NB8M-10) operating VARA FM (Narrow for now) up and running in Ashland, Ohio. Would appreciate anyone trying to use it for testing purposes and letting me know how it is working. I have only another handheld (and Digirig Lite) to test with and although I can make the connection for some reason it isn't transferring email to the the station as far as I can tell. Connection to CMS is good and from all other aspects that I can discern, it should be up and operational. Haven't been able to reach the Akron station or any others via Winlink Express due to what I think is terrain, but will keep trying.

The Frequency is 145.760 for now ( may change as needs dictate ) and is an omnidirectional 1/2 wave with radials about 40 feet above ground with 40 watts at present.

Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software.
