KF7RSF back in service

Well, it took a few days of waiting for more conducive weather, but fully back in service.
U-Bolts that clamp mast in rotor were loose enough to rattle! All tightened and double-nutted to hopefully prevent a recurrence.

EA8URF equipment info status update.

Hi.

After some time witouth a major info update about our equipment, here a summary of our working conditions.

Today we have 4 dedicated radios for winlink.

KF7RSF down temporarily

Clamp that locks mast in rotor is loose, allowing mast and antennas to windmill slightly - just enough to lose sync with controller.

Tower is nested and a rope tied from end of boom to house to stop spinning. Big storm coming tomorrow night that will delay chance to fix.
Guess it is time to drill and pin the mast in the rotor clamp.

I'll be back!
