Technical Support and Contact Information

Help Basics

  • Keep in mind that ALL help you get will come from a volunteer, whether another user or a member of the Winlink Development Team. Be kind and thoughtful.

  • Browse through the Winlink 2000 FAQ. Many questions have been asked and answered before!
  • Browse the "How-to" and "Training Aids" Documents in the downloads area (site login required first).
  • Use the search tool (upper right of every page). Simply enter key words and click 'Search'.
  • Most importantly, READ YOUR SOFTWARE HELP FILES!
  • If you can't go online, learn to use the Winlink Catalog which offers short articles on common operation issues. See the Airmail software's internal help under the topic "Catalog".

E-mail Discussion Groups

Posting your query on one of the WL2K discussion groups has many advantages.

  1. It will get you a faster answer.
  2. It lets you benefit from multiple solutions offered by others with similar (or different) setups.
  3. It lets others benefit from the solutions.
  4. It keeps a record of the question and answer - available to all.

There are also groups run by other organizations or individuals that offer information and discussion on relevant products and topics:
